CAROL GREENE, SINGING VENTRILOQUIST, has performed in a wide variety of
venues -- from schools, churches, and community events to Las Vegas --
making her a very versatile family entertainer. She accepts engagements
mainly in the region around San Jose, California. For the past three
years, Carol has performed at the Vegas Ventriloquist Convention. She
appeared on the Discovery Channel with Sammy, her 70-year-old Frank
Marshall figure. She was voted "Best Program of the Year" by members of
the Los Gatos History Club.
She uses a variety of both hard and soft full-bodied figures. Presently
in her stage shows, music plays a significant role. She sings with some of
her figures and dances with others in a family show combining ventriloquism
and scarf juggling. Another one of her specialties is doing walk-arounds
where she enjoys close interaction with people during community events.
As a skilled workshop presenter and ventriloquist coach, she has instructed
over 4,000 adults and children in ventriloquism basics, singing, and
dancing. For ten years, she has written her column, "U-Can-Do-It-2," which
is published quarterly in LAUGH MAKERS, Journal of the International
Association of Family Entertainment Professionals. For more details and
